Vision and Mission
The Global Philanthropy Council is a distinguished initiative of United World Leaders Society (UWL), an independent, nonpartisan, next-generation world leadership institution advancing socioeconomic prosperity, international cooperation, and peace.
The Council brings together extraordinary philanthropists, families, foundations, endowments, family offices, corporations, and other institutions with exceptional capacity, resources, and commitment to drive meaningful positive change, amplify global impact, and build enduring legacies.
Members leverage UWL’s credible and influential platform to attract major stakeholders worldwide: governments, Presidents and Prime Ministers of countries, ambassadors, ministers, other current and former senior government dignitaries, and leaders across business, academia, science, philanthropy, and civil society.

Members use UWL’s independent platform to engage governments, international organizations, and influential stakeholders, advancing constructive dialogue, socioeconomic development, preventive diplomacy, and cooperation that brings nations and communities closer together.
Global Visibility and Distinguished Events
Members and their achievements are showcased through the Impact & Legacy Review, Impact & Legacy events, and institutional communications. Opportunities include hosting and participating in international gatherings, receptions, and black-tie dinners, with integration into relevant UWL and partner events worldwide.
Multigenerational Legacy
Young United World Leaders and UWL Academy offer children, grandchildren, younger family members, and future institutional leaders opportunities for mentorship, leadership development, and learning from distinguished world leaders. Families carry forward their philanthropic missions and prepare future generations to lead.

Empowering Others Through Nominations
Participation is through introductions and nominations. Members nominate distinguished individuals and institutions from their ecosystems for membership and leadership consideration. All nominations and appointments are subject to institutional approval.
